Privacy Policy

Effective Date:25 September 2026
Last Updated:24 September 2026

Summary

  • We collect the health, activity, mood, meal and profile information you enter or allow us to access, so Swasthi can track your wellness, generate reports, plan meals and connect you with coaches.
  • We use your camera only when you scan a barcode or food, and your location only to show region-relevant food and nearby services. You can refuse either and still use the app.
  • We never sell your personal data and never use your health or mood information for advertising.
  • Coaches see your information only when you book or buy from them, and only what they need to help you.
  • You can view, correct or delete your data at any time, including deleting your whole account from inside the app.

This Privacy Policy explains how Fit Earn Meditate ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you use the Swasthi mobile application on Android and iOS, the website swasthi.fit, and related services (together, "Swasthi"). By creating an account or using Swasthi, you confirm that you have read this policy. Where the law requires your consent, we ask for it separately inside the app.

We process personal data in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025, the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, and, for users in other regions, the data protection laws that apply to them.

1Who we are

Swasthi is operated by Fit Earn Meditate, which is the Data Fiduciary (data controller) for your personal data.

Fit Earn Meditate

Email: help.swasthi@gmail.com

Swasthi is a standalone app. Although it is built by the team behind FitnEarn, your Swasthi account and data are not linked to or shared with any other app we operate.

2Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Account information: your name, email address and, if you sign up with email, a password (which is stored in encrypted form). If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address and, for Google, your profile photo. If you use Apple's "Hide My Email", we receive a private relay address instead of your real email.
  • Profile and health information: details such as age or date of birth, gender, height, weight, activity level, health goals, dietary preferences, food allergies or intolerances, and any medical conditions you choose to tell us about.
  • Wellness tracking: the meals, foods, water intake, workouts, sleep and moods you log, and any notes you add to them.
  • Health calculators and reports: the values you enter into our health calculators (such as BMI, BMR, body fat, TDEE, calorie burn and water requirement), their results, and the weekly, monthly and yearly reports we generate from them.
  • Brain games: your game scores and progress.
  • Bookings and purchases: the consultations you book, the meal plans and subscriptions you buy, and any notes or information you share with a coach through Swasthi.
  • Preferences: your chosen language, units and notification settings.
  • Support messages: anything you send us when you contact support.

Information collected when you use certain features

  • Physical activity: if you allow it, we use your phone's motion sensors (the "Physical activity" permission on Android or "Motion & Fitness" on iOS) to count your steps. Step data stays linked to your account so we can show your progress.
  • Camera: when you scan a barcode or take a photo of food, we process the image or barcode to identify the product or food and its nutritional values. We access the camera only while you are using these features.
  • Location: if you allow it, we use your device's location to show foods, recipes and cuisines relevant to your region and to show services near you. You can switch this off in your device settings at any time.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and usage information: device model, operating system, app version, language, IP address, and how you use features of the app, collected through Google Firebase.
  • Crash and performance data: crash reports and diagnostic logs, collected through Firebase Crashlytics, so we can find and fix problems.
  • Notification token: an identifier that lets us send you reminders and updates if you allow notifications.
We do not receive or store your full card, UPI or bank details. Payments are handled by Razorpay, Google Play or the Apple App Store, which give us only a transaction reference, amount and status.

4AI features

Swasthi uses artificial intelligence services from third-party providers to create meal plans, suggest recipes and recognise foods from photos. To do this, we send the provider only the information needed for that request, such as your goals, dietary preferences, relevant health details, recent logs, preferred language or a food image. We do not send your name or email address with these requests.

We choose AI providers whose terms do not allow them to use the data we send to train their own models, and who are bound to keep it confidential and secure. AI-generated content can be inaccurate and is not medical advice. Please read the health disclaimer in our Terms & Conditions.

5How we share information

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share your health, activity or mood information with advertisers. We share personal data only in these situations:

  • With coaches you choose: when you book a consultation or buy a meal plan, the diet or health coach receives your name and the profile, health and log information they need to provide the service. We do not share your mood entries with coaches unless you choose to. Coaches are independent professionals who must keep your information confidential and use it only to serve you.
  • With service providers who work for us: Google Firebase (authentication, database, analytics, notifications and Crashlytics crash reporting), Amazon Web Services (hosting and storage), Razorpay (payment processing), Google Play and the Apple App Store (in-app purchases and subscriptions), Google and Apple sign-in, and our AI providers. They process data only on our instructions or under their own terms for the service they provide, with contractual safeguards.
  • Video consultations: consultations take place through meeting links on third-party video platforms. Your use of those platforms is also governed by their own privacy policies.
  • For legal reasons: when required by law, court order or a lawful request from a government authority, or to protect the rights, safety and property of our users, the public or us.
  • Business changes: if Fit Earn Meditate is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, your data may transfer to the new owner, who must continue to protect it as described here.

6Where your data is stored

Our service providers may store and process data on servers located in India and in other countries. When data is transferred outside India, we do so as permitted under Indian law and take reasonable steps to make sure it receives a similar level of protection. If you are outside India, your data will be transferred to and processed in India.

7How long we keep your data

  • We keep your account, profile, health, tracking and log data for as long as your account is active.
  • When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days. Copies in secure backups are removed within a further 90 days.
  • We keep transaction and invoice records for as long as tax and accounting laws require, which in India can be up to 8 years.
  • If your account is inactive for 3 years, we may notify you and then delete it.
  • We may keep information longer where needed to resolve a dispute, enforce our terms or comply with a legal obligation.

Our Data Deletion Policy explains exactly what is deleted and what is kept.

8How we protect your data

We use reasonable security safeguards, including encryption in transit, encrypted storage of passwords, access controls that limit who can view personal data, secure cloud infrastructure and monitoring for misuse. No system is completely secure, but if a personal data breach occurs, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.

9Your rights and choices

Under Indian law you have the right to:

  • get a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we process it, and the identities of those we have shared it with;
  • correct, complete or update your personal data;
  • have your personal data erased;
  • withdraw consent you have given, as easily as you gave it;
  • nominate another person to exercise your rights if you die or become unable to;
  • have your grievance addressed by us, and then escalate it to the Data Protection Board of India.

If you live in the European Union, the United Kingdom or another region with similar laws, you also have the right to data portability, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to complain to your local data protection authority.

You can change most of your information in the app. For anything else, email help.swasthi@gmail.com from your registered email address. We will respond within 30 days, and may need to verify your identity first. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that happened before you withdrew it.

You can also control device permissions (camera, location, physical activity, notifications) at any time in your phone's settings.

10Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time in the app under Profile > Settings > Delete account, or by emailing help.swasthi@gmail.com from your registered email address with the subject "Delete my Swasthi account". Full details are in our Data Deletion Policy.

Swasthi is not meant for children under 13, and they may not create an account. Users aged 13 to 17 may use Swasthi only with the verifiable consent of a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for their use of the app. We do not use the data of users under 18 for tracking, behavioural monitoring or targeted advertising. If we learn that we hold data of a child without the required consent, we will delete it. Parents can contact us to review or delete their child's data.
